SOLUTIONS / EMERGENCY NURSE CALL

Nurse call that connects every call to care.

A wired and wireless nurse call alarm system for Canadian senior living. Direct Care Connect DCC™ brings resident calls, caregiver communication and response reporting together, from the bedside to shared spaces.

FROM ALERT TO ACTION

A clear path from a resident’s call to your team’s response.

Give caregivers the context to act, a way to coordinate and a record of the care that follows.

  1. 01

    Call for help

Residents call from a pendant, call cord, wall button or pull cord, with specialty cords and sensors for those who cannot press a button.

  2. 02

    Reach the right team

Route alerts by location, priority, work zone and shift. Escalation rules notify additional responders when a call has not been accepted.

  3. 03

    Respond with context

See the resident and call location on supported devices. Accept the alert, coordinate with colleagues and use room voice callback where equipped.

  4. 04

    Record the care

Track response and care time, select a care category and add notes. Managers can review how every call was handled.

Room voice callback

Connect the conversation to the call.

A resident presses the button. A caregiver’s phone rings with the room. One answer later, they are talking through the Communication Hub’s speaker, and they know what they are walking into before they reach the door.

Caregiver“How can I help?”

A request“I dropped my glasses.”

An emergency“I can’t get up.”

Voice adds context. It never replaces going to the room.

Works with the Communication Hub Station, exclusive to Poltys Canada, and supported handsets and desk phones.

WIRED & WIRELESS

The right call points for the way your residents live.

Choose hardware around your building, residents and care routines. DCC supports wired, wireless and combined deployments.

Wireless nurse call

Wearable pendants, wireless pull cords and room stations put help within reach as residents move through covered areas. Location-enabled devices help caregivers find where a call originated.
