Introducing the DCC Contactless Sleep Monitor
A bedside radar sensor that shows caregivers who is in bed, who is up, and whose nights are restless, so overnight checks can go where they are needed.

Poltys Canada today introduced the DCC Contactless Sleep Monitor, a bedside radar sensor for Direct Care Connect DCC™ that helps caregivers understand each resident's night without entering the room or placing anything on the bed.
Better information for night shift
Routine overnight checks can disturb the very sleep they aim to protect. The Sleep Monitor gives night staff a clearer picture of each resident, so they can let sound sleepers rest and respond sooner to residents who are up, restless or not back in bed.
At a glance
In-bed and out-of-bed status. See who is in bed and who is up across the neighbourhood.
Not back in bed when expected. Caregivers are alerted when a resident has been out of bed longer than expected.
Frequent night activity. Restless nights are flagged so changes can be noticed and discussed.
Breathing and heart rate trends. Contactless readings build a picture of each resident’s normal patterns over time.
Mounted above the headboard. Short-range 24 GHz radar focuses on the bed. One monitor per bed, nothing on the mattress.
Local data, no camera. Data is captured locally over Wi-Fi and needs no cloud subscription to function. No images are captured or stored.
Part of one platform
Sleep and activity alerts appear in DCC alongside every other alarm source, and trends over time support care conferences and family conversations.
